Ahoy! Arrr! A Ship as Gift

I have always wanted a ship of my own. Who doesn't want one? If I am super duper rich and famous (ececewah, amin) I want a ship to be named FRUITHEART.

Anyway, this is my own ship. It has the name 'Captain Farah'. A door gift from my company Christmas Dinner they had recently. I wonder if I painted it black, it definitely turned out to be just like The Black Pearl, isn't it? HAHA. Too much Pirates of the Caribbean lah you Fara.

I put it on my office cubical. Now some additional stuff stucked there.

P/S: In my dream world, yes I do have a small ship. With jacuzzi! Ahoy! Arrr!

Delicious Laksa

Yesterday on Xmas day I work from home. I woke up as early as 6.30am to complete my tasks because I planned to cook laksa for lunch. Knowing how slow I can be, worse than tortoise, the ETA to complete is 2 hours.
If I am at Gombak, I am nervous when I am cooking. You wanna know why? I have to present it to my in laws as well. Plus, if my MIL is in the kitchen double the sweat I tell you! HAHA. Panic attack.

However, as per tweet above it shows that my laksa is OK and delicious! Yay me. Pat on the back.
My MIL ate two times during lunch. And Mr. Fruitheart too! Alhamdulillah, sedap. *wide smile* Just that, this time I put less chilies which makes it less spicy and red. Last time, I include the fish bones too which makes everyone almost tercekik tulang.
P/S: I know I can cook! I just need a recipe and enough ingredients and someone to eat. :D

Movie Characters In Real Life (16 IMAGES)

I was looking on pictures uploaded by my friends in facebook, until I caught something that is too cute!

It seems like the smaller version of the big blue Monster Inc, Sully. I'm imagining baby girl wearing this on Halloween. Eh, not celebrating it HAHA. But maybe on her birthday, HAHA. I can't handle cuteness, I must say.

Check out picture no. 13. The girl version of Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) from Twilight. Oh and the overload cuteness of the girl who's face like Dora and Boo from Monster Inc. Agagaga!

If We Are In Other People's Shoe - Get Service

Once in a while we do need a dose of awareness, a dose of 'if we are in someone's shoe'.

P/S: Sometimes we think too much about our problems. There are people who faces a lot more than us. If we throw our problems in a pot with others, we might wanna get ours back.

Kitchen Cabinet and Quotation Hunting, Renovation Cost

The stage that I don't like - waiting for quotation. Having to check several different quotations and the hassle plus headaches.

Our new house does not have kitchen cabinet, not even the base or top surface and NOT EVEN a sink! Empty. Both of us have been searching on the Internet for kitchen cabinet contractors for about 3 months. We even went to the Home Decoration Exhibition (HOMEDEC) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) to survey on the prices and services.

First choice was I'm very impressed with their kitchen cabinet designs and work. I just love it. Their website also provide good info on how to choose the material and measurement. The issue with it was, I have to chase for quotation. :( That's a total turn off for Mr. Fruitheart.

Next, Mr. Fruitheart gave me a quotation from CLS Kitchen Cabinet. Price was almost the same as However, I did some survey about CLS, and hmm.. not a good one. You can search for the review in a forum.

Our New Home - Renovation Part I

I am so excited. Actually all of us, me, Mr. Fruitheart and kiddo. Finally we have our own house. The feeling of excitement, ahhh.. don't know how to describe. It's a condo which we bought in TTDI, Damansara. MAS KIARA Residences.

The first stage of course a little renovation to the new house. Painting, installing kitchen cabinet and built-in wardrobe and additional plug points. We have also asked the contractor to do the hacking for air-cond copper and wiring etc before we move in. A lot of work I would say.

They started the renovation work on Monday. And on Wednesday we stopped by after work to see what's going on.

Measuring, cutting, knocking, screwing.. This is not a well known kitchen cabinet contractor like Signature Kitchen or Kian Classic. This contractor was introduced to us by my FIL's friend. I'll share the story of how we asked for quotations maybe in my next entry.

In my opinion and suggested by Pakcik Mad Nor, we need to have the double sink and also doub…

Smart Phone: Yes or No

English is said to be the international language, right? No? I am surprised when some people who likes to explain or makes thing complicated, for simple stuff.

How many of you like to fill in details in a form? I know Mr. Fruitheart doesn't like it. So I have to do it for him, if I am with him at that time. Or if he can take the form back home, he would do it. *grin*

So here I am, complaining this small thing. It's a simple instruction.

In fact, some smart phone users are not SMART after all.

They type: As per email received, I am using a smart phone now and would like to have the application running to ensure I can complete my tasks.

Another one: I was given a smart phone and was told to order this application for my work.

And another one: Since you are the one who provided the smart phone to all users, you tell me what version I have.

Of course, I have to ask them politely to check on t…

Kenduri Akikah Nur Leia Arissa

Entri tertangguh. Sepatutnya update selepas kenduri, tetapi gambar ada pada jurugambar yang terpaksa pulang ke universiti. Jadi, perlu tunggu sampai jurugambar balik baru boleh upload. Jurugambar ialah adik ipar I.

Majlis akikah I buat di kampung, Banting. Pemilihan buaian dan katering dibuat dua bulan sebelum majlis. Agak kelam kabut dan panik bila nak nak dekat hari majlis. Rasa macam nak buat kenduri kahwin OK! HAHA. Over sangat mama.

I ambil pakej Wafri Collections Buaian Berendoi. Banyak juga I survey dan hantar email sana sini. Nak yang terbaik dan berpatutan untuk baby girl kan. HEHE. Sekali tu ternampak lah beberapa gambar berendoi baby Marion Caunter. I like!! Cantik sangat, warna gold. WOW! Entah berapa lah harga nya kan. HEHE. Mr. Fruitheart dah pesan awal-awal, buai nak yang cantik. Errr.. Jadi I pun kena lah cari dan tunjuk. Dah boss besar yang membayarnye kan. :D

Pakej EnglishCradle Kayu Swing, menjadi pilihan. Oleh sebab baby girl, maka I ambil pink. Yay! Asyik pink je mam…

Big Bad Wolf

First time I heard about it was on twitter. And I thought it was something that got to do with porn. HAHA. What triggered me? Bad. Wolf.

Last weekend we went to the BBW book sales at MIECC. I read in twitter (did you see how much influence twitter is on me?) the queue to pay was loooonnngggggg. I hate long queue! Plus, it's on weekend and I know the place will be crowded. Baby girl and my sister tagged along with us. Surprisingly, she was OK for half hour. After that, she needs her milk and started crying. Wuwu.

I can't find any Malay story books for kiddo. Or maybe I haven't go around every inch of the place. But there is a signboard 'Malay books'. For novels actually. If they have Malay novels, they should have childrens malay storybooks, not just English. I hope they can have it next time.

And above two were for me. Not gonna finished it within two days, or even one week. Used to do that, but now not anymore.

As it had been told, there were 3 mil books this time. T…

Music: Better Than Me - Hinder

This was one my of favourite song long time ago. Argh! I feel old out of a sudden. This was together with Lips of an angel. Love both songs!

I think you can do much better than me
After all the lies that I made you believe
Guilt kicks in and I start to see
The edge of the bed
Where your nightgown used to be
I told myself I won't miss you
But I remember
What it feels like beside you
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

While looking through your old box of notes
I found those pictures I took
That you were looking for
If there's one memory I don't want to lose
That time at the mall
You and me in the dressing room
I told myself I won't miss you
But I remember
What it feels like beside you
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

The bed I'm lying in is getting colder
Wish I never would've said it's o…

5 Minutes Before You Die

Yesterday on our back home, Mr. Fruitheart had asked me a sensitive question that made me eyes opened up it's pipe. In case you're wondering what it is, yes tears on my eyes. Uwaaa!

He asked me, 'What do you think 5 minutes before you die?' I directly answered my sins.

He asked me again if there are any other thing. I said no.
And he asked me about my children. Don't I think about them?

Terus keluar air mata. Sentap kot. He knows his wife so well, I am very super sensitive when it comes to my children. Ahh.. actually I am just a sensitive type of person like that.

Mr. Fruitheart had this conversation with his good colleague that made him think. He sent one video, which I do not know what it is about (or I forgot, he did told me). His friend said, he would want to know if his children get a good spouse. And my husband asked why is that and he explained with examples. *smile*

Well, as parents they were the one who have been protecting their children, giving and providing t…

Unwell Children

New week it is. December, another 27 days to 2013. Had rough time last week. Both my children were unwell. Baby girl had fever after her jab, which I did expected it. However, she also had rashes all over her body. That sure scares me at first. I thought it was a dengue fever, or chicken pox. Turned out it was just rashes. Due to her fever, the rashes came out. I don't even expected that to happened after her jab. She didn't get it for her previous one.

As for kiddo, he complained of headache Friday morning. No fever at that time. He was fine the day before. We brought baby girl to see the doctor on Friday but didn't checked on kiddo as we thought the headache will go away.

On the evening, he vomited. Like a lot! He drank plain water, it came out. He hardly ate. Both of them slept with me that night. So the mommy had to take care their babies while daddy slept in front of the TV. *smile*

And that night he vomited three times. Habis muntah atas comforter, kain pelikat dan tua…

Another life ramblings by me. I know we have friends who we can talk to, we have family members who we can share our tears and we have our partner to complaint to.. but somehow, there are times when I think I don't want to talk. I just want to write.

Sometimes, I just want to let my frustrations out. And no, do not reply to it. That's all. I just want someone to listen or read. Once I let it all out, fuhhhh... LEGA like that. Relief!

I am frustrated. I feel like people take me for granted. I give my best in doing things and stuff, but why aren't I getting the same? But when I did not give my best, they complained. But when I complained about them, they just smile. Making me annoyed some more. All the best I can do, just shut up and sit down quietly. And then they started to ask why am I so quite. I feel like giving them my middle finger as an answer. At one time, I feel like slapping someone really hard.

I am tired. Really tired. I know people are no mind readers. Some things…
